Street Tree Program
If you live in the following subdivisions, then you have found your site.
(Lionsgate by the Green, The Links at Lionsgate, Staley Farms, Shoal Creek and any of the Hunt Midwest subdivisions)
We offer special pricing and discounts for the homeowners in these subdivisions.
Whether you are a do-it-yourself or you would like us to do it for you, Paradise can save you money.
We do everything from landscape design, sprinkler installation, and large tree relocation.
This page is here to help the homeowners in these subdivisions determine when their street trees will be installed on their property.
If you are inquiring about your tree (dead, alive or not planted yet) you may e-mail us at sales@paradisenursery.net and we will contact you within 2-5 business days.
For more personal attention, you may feel free to contact John Berwald on his cell (913)207-7709 or at the nursery (816)407-7888.
Q&A:
When will tree planting begin in my subdivision?
Tree planting will begin on October 15th and will last until May 1st. Paradise has over 800 street trees to plant during the 07-08 season. Some of the trees are currently in stock and the others will be arriving soon.
How do I know if my house is going to get a street tree or trees installed?
If your home has had sod for more than 1 month you are entitled to get your street tree or trees. Street trees are placed 47 to 50 feet apart and will depend on Sidewalks, Street Lights, Mail Boxes, Driveways, and Stop Signs. Not all homes will be getting street trees. Homes located at the end of a cul-de-sac are the only homes subject to not getting street trees.
What kind of tree will be planted on my street?
We will be planting Maple, Ash, Oak, and Elm trees for street trees. We believe in making each street standout as it gets older and more mature.
What will you do if you hit my sprinkler or dog fence? Do I need to mark it?
We have everything on the trucks to repair your sprinkler and dog fences. There are occasions when planting your tree that we do not realize that we have damaged your sprinkler or dog fence. As soon as you have noticed the damage please call us at (816)407-7888 and we will come and fix it during regular business hours.
